One Little Pine Modular Montessori Bookshelf with 2 Shelves

When books sit where a child can reach them, they get picked up far more often — no more asking a grown-up to fetch one. This two-shelf bookshelf is 56 cm high, so books and toys stay at your child’s level, while a compartment built into the back keeps whatever doesn’t need to be on display. It connects seamlessly with other One Little Pine modular shelves, so a reading corner can grow into a bigger setup later.

• Dimensions: width 100 cm, height 56 cm, depth 30 cm
• 2 shelves plus a built-in storage compartment at the back
• FSC-certified solid wood, strong and stable construction
• Rounded corners for safety
• Connects easily with other One Little Pine modular shelves
• Coated with 0% VOC eco-oil or water-based, non-toxic paint that is safe for children
• Simple assembly, clear instructions included
• Finishes: Natural Wood (no coating, ready for your own finish), Clear Oil (clear natural oil), White / Clear Oil (shelves painted white RAL 9010, sides oiled in a clear tone)

An uncoated bookshelf should be treated with oil, varnish or paint. An oiled one may smell of oil for 1–2 weeks: wipe it gently with a dry cloth at first, and after two weeks with a damp cloth or an alcohol-free cleaner. Refinish as needed. Each bookshelf is handmade to order in Lithuania, which takes about 1–2 weeks.
