Stonz Toddler Winter Booties with Rubber Sole

Once a toddler starts walking the winter streets on their own, footwear has to keep them warm, grip the ground and slip onto a wriggly foot in seconds. We picked these booties for exactly that stage — from the first steps up to two and a half years.

Why we chose them

• 3M Thinsulate insulation with very little weight: the maker says they stay cosy down to −20 °C, so a small walker is not dragging heavy boots around.
• A non-slip, water-resistant rubber sole made of recyclable PLUSFoam — for snow and slush on everyday walks.
• A wide opening and two adjustable fasteners: the booties go on quickly, stay on the foot and adjust to it for months.

How to choose
