Karloova Baby Gift Set: Comforter and Jingling Wand

In the first weeks a baby learns to grab what they see. This set gives them two things for exactly that: a wand that answers every movement with a jingle, and a soft blanket with a ring to hold and to chew.

Why we chose it

• The wand is recommended by physiotherapist Maarja Säde: its slender handle and light weight let a baby who is just learning to grasp hold on to it, which supports fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
• The wand jingles — the sound stimulates hearing, and the light textile toy won’t hurt if a small hand swings it clumsily.
• A comfort blanket with different textures, loops and a wooden ring — fingers explore the fabric, the hand brings the ring to the mouth, and eye-hand-mouth coordination develops.

How to choose

The set suits babies from birth. These are toys for awake time: play together while the baby is awake and an adult is close. The wand jingles. The wand set comes in pink or blue.
