Luula Adjustable Birch Chair with Armrests and Soft Back

A preschooler at a craft table and a ten-year-old at homework need very different chairs — unless the chair moves with them. This one is designed to cover the whole preschool and primary-school period: while the child is small, the armrests help them sit securely; as the seat goes up for a school-age child, the armrests sit lower and stop getting in the way.
