Lorena Canals Snail — Washable Rug, 90 × 130 cm

Bring a piece of the garden into the children’s room: this rug is shaped like a snail. Its round shell is sage blue mixed with delicate shades of blue and green, with pile of the same height that realistically follows the spiral of a snail shell. The body is in a natural colour, defined by rows of hand-cut natural fringes, and handmade braids form the antennae. A soft place to sit, crawl and play that turns any space into an enchanted garden.

• Dimensions: 90 x 130 cm
• Weight: 2.5 kg
• Composition: 97% cotton, 3% other fibres; base: RugCycled textile fibres, mainly cotton
• Designed by Lorena Canals and handcrafted in their own factory with natural fibres, recycled materials and non-toxic dyes

Care: wash separately at 30 °C maximum in a machine with a capacity of 8 kg or more, on a gentle programme because of the fringes and braids, without bleach or fabric softener. Tumble dry on low heat and take the rug out as soon as the cycle ends. Vacuum regularly on low power; if a long thread appears, cut it with scissors — never pull it. Remove stains with lukewarm water and mild soap, and avoid constant direct sunlight.
