Kinderkraft Activity Playmat 2-in-1 with Ball Pit

A baby spends the first months on their back and tummy, and taking in everything they see and hear is their main job. We chose the Kinderkraft 4SMART mat because it is built around exactly this age: contrasting colours, sounds, textures and concentration cards all in one place on the floor.

Why we chose it

• Black, white, yellow and red: in the first months children see contrasting colours best, so the mat has something to show your baby right from birth.
• Four zones — sight, hearing, touch and concentration: rustling, rattling and soft elements invite your baby to reach out, grab and learn that touching a toy makes a sound.
• The side of the mat can be raised to encourage your baby to lift their head and strengthen their neck muscles, and the 12 double-sided black-and-white cards and the mirror clip onto the pushchair for walks.

How to choose

The mat is suitable from birth. It takes up 128 x 116 cm of floor space, so measure the spot in advance. The hanging toys attach to the bars or can be played with on their own, and the cards slide into a plastic pocket on the side of the mat.
